It’s easy to move quickly from one milestone to the next without stopping to acknowledge what’s been created along the way.
Over the past year, WIAB has grown through moments — conversations, events, shared experiences — each one shaped by the women who chose to show up, contribute, and take up space in an industry that doesn’t always make that easy.
This blog isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s a reflection.
What’s stood out most over the last year isn’t scale for the sake of scale, but intentional presence. From intimate conversations to rooms filled with energy and ambition, WIAB has brought together women across the Amazon and eCommerce ecosystem who are serious about their work and generous in how they engage.
Women who lead teams.
Women who build brands.
Women who are stepping into visibility — sometimes for the first time.
Each gathering, whether in person or online, has reinforced the same truth: when women are given the right environment, something shifts. Conversations deepen. Confidence grows. Opportunities start to feel more possible.
This past year has also been about visibility — not as performance, but as recognition.
We’ve celebrated women who are driving strategy behind the scenes, shaping growth, and bringing depth and expertise to an industry that moves fast and demands a lot. Panels, discussions, and stages have created space for women to be seen and heard on their own terms.
One of the most powerful moments of the year was watching women from within the WIAB community step onto global stages, sharing insight, experience, and perspective with confidence. These moments matter — not just for individual careers, but for what they signal about who belongs in the room.
Alongside the events and conversations, something quieter has been taking shape.
Connections formed over coffee.
Advice shared without agenda.
Support offered at moments when it mattered.
These are not always visible wins, but they are foundational ones.
WIAB has never been about constant output or surface-level engagement. It’s about building something steady — a community that supports women as they grow, lead, and navigate change over time.
As we look ahead, what feels most important isn’t how much was done, but how it was done.
With intention.
With care.
With a clear standard for how space is held.
This past year is something to be proud of — not because it was loud, but because it was meaningful.
To every woman who joined, participated, spoke, listened, supported, or simply found her way into the room: thank you. WIAB is what it is because of you.
And this is only the beginning.
