Navigating Careers & Parenthood

How to Have a Brilliant Career When You Have Kids

Having children shouldn't mean putting your career ambitions on hold. But between demanding jobs, childcare, school runs, sick days and everything else life throws at you, how do you keep progressing without feeling like you're constantly on the back foot?

Join Zoe Duce, founder of MoveThru, for an interactive WIAB workshop exploring how to build the support, systems and confidence to navigate parenthood alongside an ambitious career.

What we'll cover

  • Making it work: What needs to be in place at home and at work to support your career ambitions.
  • Planning for the unexpected: Preparing for the inevitable curveballs with realistic Plans B and C.
  • Building your support network: Finding the right support, even when you don't have family nearby.
  • Creating space to grow: Sharing responsibilities and making room for the opportunities you want to pursue.

Meet Zoe

Zoe spent over 14 years managing teams and complex projects in London and New York, including three years at Amazon Advertising.

Today, as founder of MoveThru, she helps working parents navigate the practical challenges of balancing family life with career progression.

Who should attend?

Whether you're a working parent, planning for the future or managing parents in your team, this session will give you practical ideas you can put into action straight away.
